Ever had an idea or thought you turned into a plan that didn’t produce the results you wanted? Chances are yes, and you are not alone.

Ideas are like children. They must be birthed, nurtured, corrected, and supported. Otherwise they will experience the epic fails of New Coke and Crystal Pepsi (Google these if you are under 30 years old). Ideas die painful deaths because they are extensions of you! Today’s great idea is tomorrow’s dinosaur.

I have discovered that the truly “great” ideas don’t happen in a moment. The truly “great” ideas might be sparked in a moment, but, the idea most often undergoes a lengthy proving process. Proving your idea brings your idea to life.

5 Questions that Bring Your Ideas to Life and Keep them Living:

  1. Timing: Is this really the right time?
  2. Testing: How have I tested my idea for durability, practicality and sustainability?
  3. Transformational: Does this idea bring beneficial, needed and necessary transformation (change)?
  4. Trusted: How much do I trust my idea and will others feel the same?
  5. Talent: Who needs to be involved?

Invest in a thorough vetting process of your ideas, follow a contemplative basis like the 5 Questions above and see better results from your ideas!
